Journey For Smiles is a non profit program whose mission is to provide free dental care to orphaned and underprivileged children in Vietnam. Founded by dentists coming to Vietnam, program enhances the lives of orphaned children by showing them there is hope in Vietnam. The program’s success is measured by how well we prevent and treat dental disease for these underprivileged children.

Beginning in 2004, we saw the first dental volunteers come to Vietnam to help treat underprivileged children.  Annually, the number under the program has grown to over 900 children treated in 2010.

The program’s current director and founder is Dr. Andrew H.F.Tsang, Managing Director with Westcoast International Dental Clinics.  With the alliance with Westcoast, Journey for Smiles attains clinical space and supplies to the program as well as allocates dental nurses is donated to the program.  To assist in the program’s teaching and treatment missions, volunteers are called to support the program annually.
